Corporate retreat cruises.
A premium offsite format: strategy, bonding and rest, without multi-venue chaos. We keep the agenda realistic and the logistics tight.

An offsite your finance team will also approve.
Outcome-driven agenda, attendee logistics, procurement-ready documentation and a Plan B, all designed for an overnight cruise environment.
Sessions placed around cruising, shore stops and meals. No unrealistic minute-by-minute plans.
Transfers, cabins, timing and attendee comms, sequenced so nobody is chasing a WhatsApp group.
Scope of work, clear inclusions and change control, in a format your finance team can process.
Optional vendors sourced and compared: AV, facilitation, photography, team activities.
Weather and operational changes have a written fallback before you sign anything.
One person runs the flow, so your HR lead is not doubling as an event producer.
What your finance team will ask, and the answers.
Most of our corporate enquiries come from Singapore firms, and the retreat is never approved because the CEO liked the idea. It is approved when finance stops asking questions. These are the questions.
Procurement-ready answers, not adjectives
- "What exactly are we buying?" A 2D1N whole-ship charter is roughly 22 to 24 hours end to end. Inside it: about four hours of operator-scheduled excursions, three of meals, and two facilitated blocks of ninety minutes. That is a checkable sentence; "team bonding" is not.
- "Whole venue, or part of it?" Whole ship, from twelve cabins upward — so a 40-person offsite buys exclusivity outright rather than negotiating it as an upgrade.
- "What is not in this number?" Four lines differ by vessel: the Hanoi transfer, AV, printed dietary menus, and facilitation. We price all four in the first paper rather than the third.
- "Who signs, and what do they sign?" A written scope of work and a budget sheet, in the format procurement expects, before any deposit moves.
- "What is the risk exposure?" A register covering governance, insurance, medical access, the wet-weather room and its seat count, and whether boarding is alongside or by tender.
- "Why overseas at all?" Containment. Nobody returns to the office after dinner, and connectivity in the karsts is weak enough that half-presence is difficult. We say that plainly rather than promising wi-fi we cannot deliver.
Flights run from Changi to Hanoi daily and the pier is a road transfer from there — check current schedules for your dates, and build in a buffer night before boarding. The full answer sheet and the risk register are written to be pasted into your own paper.
Pick how much of it we carry.
Most teams pick Guided Planning. You get agenda clarity and coordination without paying for full onboard staffing.

Six ships. One of them suits the team.
Aspira is the proven five-star and includes the Hanoi round trip, which takes a vendor off your list. Azura adds a sauna and eight more cabins — worth it on a 3D2N where the second day needs somewhere for people to actually switch off. Athena Royal suits a team of forty who want to be genuinely away, and Signature Halong a team of twenty; both sail the quieter Bai Tu Long. Athena Premium, from October 2026, builds the whole second day around an onsen.
Aspira Cruise · 5-star
Four years of sailings and far more public reviews than any other ship we work with. Two 55m² Presidential Suites open onto their own sun terrace, and Hanoi transfers are already in the price. The ship to charter when the day has to go right rather than turn heads.

The newest ship on Lan Ha Bay and the one its operator calls a six-star masterpiece. An infinity pool rather than a jacuzzi, a sauna alongside the spa, and Imperial Suites with ocean-view bathtubs. Eight more cabins, for guest lists past fifty.

The larger of our two ships on Bai Tu Long: quieter water, a fraction of the day boats, and caves most visitors never reach. Twenty-two cabins for 44 adults, a classic fit-out of dark wood and patterned tile, and a jacuzzi on the sundeck. It also runs the standard Ha Long route when you want the famous sights.
Explore Athena RoyalAthena Luxury Cruise · 5-star
The classic Ha Long circuit — Sung Sot, Ti Top and Luon Cave — where its sister Athena Royal takes the quieter Bai Tu Long. The 3D2N leaves the ship entirely on day two for a day boat, Me Cung Cave and the Tung Sau pearl farm. Twenty-one cabins for 42 adults, a 50-seat restaurant with a projector built in, and a sundeck the operator rates for events of fifty. It trades as plain “Athena Cruise” as well.

The smallest ship on this list by some distance — twelve cabins for 24 adults, which means a party of twenty takes the entire vessel rather than sharing it. A jacuzzi bathtub in every cabin, not just the suites, and the quiet Bai Tu Long route. Sailing since 2013, on a traditional junk hull.
Explore Signature HalongAthena Premium Cruise · 6-star 1 October 2026
The first overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay to operate a Japanese onsen, and an 800m² sundeck that takes a 400-guest cocktail reception — the largest event space of any ship we work with. Forty-one cabins for 158 guests, a four-season infinity pool and a route through Ha Long Bay proper. Enters service 1 October 2026.
